Bully Boy Recipes


Boston Rum

Nasty Neil

1.5 OZ of Boston Rum
2 OZ of orange Juice
1/4 OZ of lemon Juice
Stir. Add Ice. Top with 2 OZ of Soda water


Boston Smash

2 OZ of Boston Rum
3 OZ soda water
1.25 tbsp of chopped ginger
1 tbsp of sugar
5 large mint leave
Muddle mint, ginger and sugar until sugar becomes syrupy. Add Boston Rum and shake for fifteen seconds. Strain into a tumbler. Add ice and soda water. Enjoy.


Maple Old Fashioned

3 OZ of Boston Rum
3/4 of Maple Syrup
Angostura Bitters to taste.


"Ron Collins"

2 oz Boston Rum
1 teaspoon of sugar or .75 oz of simple syrup*
1/3 oz of lime or lemon juice
2 oz of soda water

*heat two tablespoons of sugar and two tablespoons of water until the sugar dissolves
Float a few dashes of Angostura bitters on the surface of the drink to create a "Bitter Ron"


Sally's Tea

1.5 oz of Boston Rum
4 oz iced tea
1 oz lemonade
Add six mint leaves, stir, and add ice.


The Gelding

2 oz Boston Rum
.25 oz lime juice
.25 oz grenadine
Add ice and top with 4-5 oz of ginger ale (or 7-UP in a pinch).


Workhorse

2 oz Boston Rum
.25 oz lime juice
.25 oz grenadine
Add ice, and top with 4-5 oz of ginger ale (7-UP works nicely, too).


The Gold Rush

1.5 oz Boston Rum
.75 oz honey syrup (warm equal parts honey and water until honey liquifies).
.75 oz lemon juice
.5 oz Rum Clement Creole Shrub
1 oz soda water


Bull Moose

1.5 oz Boston Rum
2 oz white grapefruit juice
2 oz tonic water
*The "Bull Moose" is a Dave Willis original.

Planters Punch

3 oz Boston Rum
1.5 oz simple syrup
.75 oz lemon juice
Add crushed ice until the glass is half full. Stir. Top with crushed ice, and garnish with a mint sprig.
